How to Survive Election Season at Work

Are you done with election season yet? I mean, it’s usually pretty sporty, but this year is in a league of its own. The venom, the volume, and soon to be rendered…the VOTE! I’m blessed to work with brilliant, talented, and kind people who will most certainly vote for different candidates come November 3rd…AND I LOVE IT!

Since navigating the social/political environment at work can get tricky at times, I thought I would give you a few quick points to help us not only survive, but THRIVE during election season.

I simply don’t buy into what the media is constantly selling us. We do NOT have to hate one another. Actually, we can love, accept, and cultivate relationships with those who disagree.

Say it with me…disagreement isn’t evil. As a matter of fact, the ability to disagree with one another and still care for and serve one another is one of the greatest freedoms we have as Americans and humans.

So as the days tick ever-closer to Election Day, may your relationships with those around you grow deeper and more meaningful REGARDLESS of who they are voting for.

And if you are really having a hard time deciding who to vote for, you can always write me in. If elected, I’d be the first President with a weekly podcast.

CLARITY for President.
